Metro Sleep Center

Metro Sleep Center improves the health and lives of individuals challenged by interrupted sleep and assists organizations in assuring employee safety through the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Founded in 2008 by Dr. Eskender Beyene, Metro Sleep is a full-service sleep center with facilities to evaluate sleep disorders and perform sleep studies in a comfortable and safe environment for patients.  The director of the Center Dr. Eskender Beyene has been practicing Seep medicine in the Washington Metro area for 10 years. His medical specialties include Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Beyene earned his MD and performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The George Washington University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine at The George Washington University Medical Center and Sleep Medicine at the DC Veterans Administration Medical Center.  He holds a BS in Medical Technology form George Mason University.

Dr. Beyene is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Association and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists - Medical Technologist Section.
